Morning Classes

Morning academic classes are taught by professional licensed teachers who provide a rich educational environment and prepare students for the upcoming school year.  Aside from the head certified teacher, there are also two teacher assistants for a total of three instructors per class. Reading Comprehension, Writing, and Math are the main fundamental blocks, but other subjects will be explored throughout the summer.  3rd grade to 6th graders will also learn test taking strategies designed to help them excel on the ELA and Math Statewide exams.  There will be daily homework assigned as well as a report card given out at the end of the session.

Afternoon Classes

Our afternoon activities include cooking class, arts and crafts, painting, technology, science, gym, outdoor sports, game shows, fitness and many others.  Each afternoon, students will have three different 90 minute activity periods. The large variety of recreational classes are provided to meet the individual interests of all students. A weekly rotation allows students to participate in all activity classes. The schedule for 2018 is not yet completed but have a look at last year's: Afternoon Schedule 2017.

Trips

We are still in the process of planning trips for this year.  Logistics for trips are difficult and therefore students have the option of attending ALL field trips or NONE.  If you choose to not go on the trips, your child must stay home while their class is out of the building on a trip.  For half day trips, your child can return to camp when their class returns to the school from the field trip.
